Some senior sessions have a vibe.

Celyse’s had a whole performance.

For her Senior Vibe Session in Green Bay, Wisconsin, we focused on dance, movement, personality, and that “wait, this could be a movie poster” kind of energy.

And let’s just say, Celyse did not come to play.

She brought the pointe shoes, the dance lines, the custom tulle skirt, the drama, and the kind of flexibility that makes the rest of us immediately feel the need to stretch.

Like… tomorrow.

Maybe.

What made this session so fun was how much variety we could create with one location. Downtown Green Bay gave us brick walls, alleyways, metal gates, textured stone, and that bold teal door that I knew would pop with my funky tutu.

It gave the whole session this mix of gritty and graceful.

And that is exactly why I love dance senior pictures.

They are not just about showing a skill. They are about showing years of work, strength, control, confidence, and personality all in one frame.

Celyse gave us the full range.

Big jumps.
Soft movement.
Quiet moments.
Strong poses.
Ballet details.
And a few images that feel like they belong in an art gallery.

One of my favorite parts of photographing dancers is that they know how to move, but they also care about the details. The hands. The feet. The lines. The posture. The emotion.

So for Celyse’s session, we created images that felt artistic while still honoring the dance side of who she is.

Because dancers know.

If the foot is wrong, they will see it forever.

And probably bring it up every time the image is shown.

This session had so much personality because it felt like Celyse. It was bold, creative, graceful, a little moody, and packed with movement.
